taj mode was a huge success thanks to you. We had over $1800 in ticket sales that will go directly to CEAP. The day was perfect, the weather cooperated and with the hard work of our crew and team the day went flawlessly.

Did you know....?
taj salon & spa is the only salon in the Twin Cities (OR anywhere in Minnesota that we know of so far) that recycles the aluminum foils that are used for color process services? We deliver our collected foils to a scrap yard in St. Paul. On one of our bi-weekly drop offs this past week, we asked the salvage/scrap yard employees if any other salons recycle foils, and they said we were the only one.
After collecting the cool $8.50 we earned for the many bags of foils, we promised them we would be on a mission to find a way to encourage other salons to do the same.
That's where you come in...if you don't currently come to taj salon & spa for your hair care services (we hope you will soon), would you please ask your salon the next time you are in for an appointment, if they would consider recycling? It might be a bit of hassle and take time out of their already busy week, but it sure feels good to know that our foils are not going into the landfills. Let's start a grass roots movement, huh?... Our business alone might not make a huge difference, but think of the impact that 10, 20 or even 100 salons could make?

We will be happy to point them in the right direction. We will even go so far as to offer to recycle for them if they want to drop off their bagged up foils at our salon and save them the drive to the St. Paul salvage yard.
