The Taj Mahal is considered one of the eight wonders of the world with good reason. Not only is it built with pure white marble, its geometric layout and exquisite acoustics provide a peaceful environment approaching paradise. At taj salon & spa, we strive to emulate this same environment for our guests. We offer only the best products, the best stylists and technicians, and a peaceful and reinvigorating place for guests to seek beauty and wellness.
taj salon & spa’s owners, Jeanne and Andria, founded the salon & spa in 2006. Since then, we’ve grown to nearly 50 staff members, opened another salon & spa location in Minneapolis, and added the taj boutique to the Brooklyn Park's location.
We focus on advanced education.
We encourage our team to pursue advanced training, and work to remain on the leading edge of style and fashion. Our team members have trained extensively with AVEDA and the International Dermal Institute, and carry advanced certificates from multiple classes hosted throughout our industry.
Awards & Recognition
We’re very proud of our award for Best Manicure / Pedicure and Hairstylist – Brooklyn Center in 2011. We were also awarded Best Hair Stylist / Massage in Brooklyn Park in 2009. taj salon & spa is one of only a few salons in the Twin Cities (or anywhere in Minnesota) that recycles the aluminum foils used in our color process services. Ask a taj salon & spa representative for more information about our aluminum foil recycling initiatives!
